Fuel Tanks UL142
Fuel Tanks: constructed of 3/16″ steel sheet, rectangular in shape with an internal tank fully protected against shock and vibration. Its base chassis is designed to support the full weight of the generator without compromising the internal tank. They are pressure leak tested from 3 to 5psi, according to UL142 standard, and are subjected to top-load tests, buoyancy tests, and hydrostatic tests.
- Include normal and emergency vent valves, as well as level indicators and alarms for low fuel levels and for leakage or rupture of the main tank.
- Painted black, but can be painted in the color of each customer's preference; and internally, a rust inhibitor film is applied at the factory to ensure that no rust will form before the first use.
